The trigger gives increased control and balance to technical tools on difficult ice and mixed terrain. Gives more stability when moving through on low or marginal placements. Attaches to grip on shaft so index finger sits comfortably in the Trigger. Comes in 2 sizes but have found that the yellow (small) is only suitable for the Grivel Taa-k-oons ice axe. The Black (large) is suitable for most other shafts.
